En het is dé gelegenheid om elkaar te ontmoeten, ideeën uit te wisselen, bij te praten en nieuwe contacten te leggen. Gisteravond was ik op bezoek in Nijmegen op de cursuslocatie van @goudsmederijvanslagmaat waar ik mijn "snoepwinkel" weer mocht openen 💎🥳 Goudsmid cursisten kunnen tijdens zo'n avond rondneuzen door de collectie edelstenen, waar ze in de cursus zelf mee aan de slag kunnen gaan. Geef jij ook les in goudsmeden en wil je ook eens zo'n ochtend/middag/avond organiseren op jouw locatie? Laat het vooral weten.

It's just a little BIG crush: inclusionsss!! We love 'em! Hematite inclusions are often found in gems, like in this big Aqua cab (pic 1 and 2). They often have amazing shapes. Hematite is also causing the 'shimmer' in moonstone (3 and 4) and Sunstone. Other common inclusions occuring in many different gemstones are rutile needles. This are actually titanium dioxide, which is 'trapped' during the crystallization process of Quartz in this case (pic 5, 6 and 7). Which is your favourite? ⬇️
